Today was absolutely... hands down.. BEAUTIFUL!!!

Trust me when I say I am laughing HYSTERICALLY while this is happenning to me.. we have
a camera feature that Scott likes to sneak up behind me on the computer and make funny faces... he also thinks it is RIOT to pick me up and carry me over his shoulders.. it scares me to death.. but again I am laughing so hard.. thinking of how I might not be able to play tennis if he drops me.. yikes!

I am pretty sure that yesterday and today were and are the BEST 2 days of February... at least for me anyway. :)
Yesterday started off with 3 sets of tennis... but I didn't play very well because I was thinking about how much FUN the luncheon afterwards was going to be ... and IT WAS! GREAT WOMEN! GREAT FRIENDS!
It got better later.. when Larry (my BEST FRIEND) and I decided to stay in.. and so we ordered Macaroni Grill to go and had our own nice dinner together..
Larry scores brownie points for waking up this morning with "HAPPY VALENTINES DAY.. and DO YOU WANT TO GO PLAY TENNIS?"... SO,... off we went..played..had fun...went to split a REUBEN Sandwich.. (my favorite),and a huge pazookie ... ughhhhhhh... I am going to have to work out twice as hard now.. and then Robin got a pretty gold chain from her SWEETHEART..
How about those CATS? That is sooooooooooo GREAT to beat UCLA!
Well, I have to dip some strawberries for our GREAT NEIGHBORS and give them thier I AM LOVED buttons..
Larry asked me at lunch today... "What are you thinking right now?"
and I said "I am thinking about what a GREAT past couple of days I have had.. with wonderful friends and of course YOU"

These are some of the HAPPIEST and JOYFUL MOMENTS in my adult life..besides of course the births of each of my 4 children.. such a fun time.. I get to experience 2 more times in the future... and I have been told that being a GRANDMOTHER will be something I can't even imagine.. I am sure I will have to be SEDATED! lol!

FINALLY! I was able to get Alexis's Valentine package out.. it won't get there by Valentines Day but shortly thereafter... I am pretty sure she will L O V E it! :)

I was lucky enough to play tennis this morning.. these gals showed up early to sweep the water off the courts...they are the BEST in my book! I learn so much from them! :)
Left over spaghetti, garlic toast and salad.. fireplace is blazing.. turning in early with a good book.. looks like we are in for a cold night.. brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr....

Look outside at the BEAUTIFUL RAINBOW! This beautiful Rainbow is outside my back yard.. thanks for the call Danette.. Heavenly Father does hear and answer our prayers! I need to TRUST and NOT DOUBT!
Now... I need MR. SUNSHINE to come out so Robin can play tennis in the morning! :)

What a FUN SATURDAY!

My day started off with swimming some laps... changing into tennis attire to meet up with Larry,Kristen and Scott for some doubles at Ironwood Ridge... afterwards going back to the El Conquistador, where they were hosting an INTERNATIONAL WHEELCHAIR TOURNAMENT!
I could not even imagine how it were possible but IT IS! AMAZING! INSPIRATIONAL! These are people from of all ages with different stories who found something to keep them going and NOT GIVE UP! Wow!
So, afterwards Kristen, Larry "THE CANDYMAN" and I went to the Gem show... and Kristen and I felt like
kids in a candystore... we had sooooooooo much fun.. I had never really been before.. we ran into Ken and Susie and Darl and Ross.. pretty random that we were all at that location, since we hadnt talked to each other about it.. well, I am going to get my bushy eyebrows waxed at my mommys... and then I think we will go to a movie.. I am not sure if I am going to see a rainbow or not.. there is a 70% chance of rain tomorrow.. just as long as we don't take into Monday... as RAINY DAYS AND MONDAYS ALWAYS GET ME DOWN! LOL!

I LOVE RAINBOWS!

Rainbows are one of the most beautiful spectacles nature has to offer -- so beautiful, in fact, that they've inspired countless fairy tales, songs and legends. It's a good bet that most of the artists behind these tales were totally mystified by the rainbow phenomenon -- just like most people are today.
I am hoping to see a RAINBOW this weekend...if you do... let it inspire LOVE and BEAUTY within your SOUL and recognize it as one of the many of our HEAVENLY FATHER'S gifts for all of us to freely enjoy. We can be SURE GOD is WATCHING OVER US...I am GRATEFUL for my BLESSINGS. :) If you are reading this post... then that means YOU are my FRIEND and for that I am also GRATEFUL and I LOVE YOU! What an AMAZING MATCH! SuperBowl! and gettting to hold our new nephew Paul.

Although I was rooting for Federer to win the Australian Open... Nadal proved to be
the better today.. but what a GREAT match.
Now on to the PHOENIX Cardinals... Go Cardinals! :)


On a much brighter note... Scott and I got to go and hold our new little nephew and 2nd cousin Paul.. He is the cutest, sweetest...most loveable little boy!
I would have to say that was the BEST part of our weekend... even better than the Australian Open.
Ok... too bad for the Cardinals..although what a great game as well!!
