Tonight's YW/YM activity was one of SERVICE! :)
The kids were able to provide service by cleaning and performing minor repairs and bagging eyeglasses so that they could be taken to 3rd world countries and donated to people who needed them and had no means of obtaining them and were going blind..
This was a fun activity... I probably had more FUN than most because I got to take pictures...
We are so blessed to have .. not only eyeglasses.. but most of us have designer ones.. or contacts or lasik surgery... I am so grateful to live in the United States.

Neat service project. I love it when the youth get involved in doing something for others.

What a GREAT project - we do, definitely, take for granted what we have available to us here in America!!
Pretty neat. I have wondered kind what happened to the donated glasses.
